It’s about 7-8 inches. So far I can only get it to eat super worms. Been on it for 2 day’s. Is it bad to only feed it super worms for the first month or so?

Two days...or even a month...isn't a big deal.
If it eats superworms, I'd bet that it will also take frozen krill or earthworm pieces as well. You can buy a tool at fishing tackle shops that consists of a small squeeze bottle (eyedropper size) topped with a hypodermic needle. It's used by fishermen to inject a small quantity of air into an earthworm to make it float up off the bottom. It works perfectly to turn sinking food into floating food for surface-feeding aquarium predators like arowanas.
