i got 4 cichlas 7cm 3 piranhas 5cm 2 silverarowanas one 40cm and the other 22 cm and a redtailed catfish from 24cm there also swims around some jack dempsey no problems so far there in this tank for 6 weeks now, the tank is
200 cm long 100 cm deep and 80 cm high, is this ok?

I was asking about raising cichlids in my tank and you said I was out of my mind because my tank was so small. Your tank is smaller than mine.

Oh wait... you thought I meant CM and not inches.

From the tanks I have seen here, people keep arrowana with cichla and RTC. I don't know about the pirahna though.

Except for the piranhas, the others should be OK in that 420 gallon tank. Whatever possessed you to mix Ps in that group is beyond me. You must have one hell of a feeder budget to be able to afford feeder arowanas and peacock bass to your piranhas.

BTW, the redtail cat WILL outpace the others in growth and eat what's left over from the Ps.

So could someone do A RTC if they had already grown the PBass to 24"?

Isn't an RTC a little too big for small tanks. If they really do get to 5' in an aquarium that is. I would think that a 5'x12'x3' would be a minimum if you plan on letting them grow out.

I use albino channels because I have about 350000 gallons of dug pond and can put them in there when they get too big. RTCs look awesome but they are too warm weathered to toss in my pond.
