Young Cichla ID please.

What is this guy? Mono? Occell? He was $3. Around 3.5" eating feeders and market shrimp every so often, kept at 88*.

I say mono or hybrid because of the red in the tail. I may be wrong though

Yep, $3 for this "small spot peacock cichlid" as he was marked. In the tank beside it, they had very slightly bigger cichla as "large spot peacock cichlid" and they were $20.

He was the only one that was "small".
