Young CK Colour Patterns??

I have a young CK 4-5 inches and it has developed 3 spots on one side near the end of it's tail but nothing on the other side.
Is this normal??
I haven't had or seen any young CK's before and wanted to know if this is normal.

If by normal you mean common, it's not that common, but I've seen some like that before.

I hope some spots develop on the other side though.

yea depends. my silver has like 20 spots already and hes only 4inch! .

I think it just may look a bit odd or unique dependsing on the way I think about it.
Anyway the fish has settled in well and I hope it will be a very interesting pet to have for a long, long time.
Maybe the spots will develop with time.....nobody seems to know.

CK patterns can change throughout their lives. There was a member who had one with perfect circles and threw it in his pond...when he netted it out to bring it in for the winter, the spots became more irregular, like Jaguars' spots.

Its good to know that their spots are variable I was hoping for the spots to develop but only time will tell.
