Young convict sexing help

so i just purchased 7 very young convict cichlids all ranging from a centimeter to an inch, and i dont see any orange bellies. is that normal? when can expect them to show gender colors/and or breed? thanks!

Let them grow out too small to tell.
 
Females can show color at an inch and smaller. Heres a pick of my female. You can see the male in the pick and hes 4”. At this point she may be 1” and shes been showing these colors since she was well under 1”

well then idk if i have all males then i got 7 of them. im sure they will show color soon. i have 4 that are just larger than a centimeter, one thats about an inch, and 2 that are for sure an inch maybe larger. but the 2 largest are male, so can a tiny female pair with a big male? thanks!

Yes, females tend to want to breed with a male larger to much larger than them.
 
With seven you may get a couple pairs. Just give then time to sort things out.

I got a single male and female, in three days they spawned. With seven it may take a few more days for the males to set up territories then start courting the females.
