I picked these up form Danger Chicken last night...their settling in and starting to show more color as they relax. When I have more time, I'm going to try and get some better shots of them

I've never heard of these cutteri before they remind me of cons, they look cool!

I like the tank too, since it has a lot of place for small cichlids to explore. Is it 20g long or 40g? Hard to tell.

Good eye! They're from the same genus as con's actually.

The tank is a 20 long...I'm pretty happy with how the tanks turned out. The powerglo bulbs really add a nice clean ambiance to the environment.

I just checked out some adult pics and they turn out even better than normal cons!

I agree with you bl00, the powerglo is one of my favorite bulbs, most LFS get their signature glow from those bulbs since they use them for showing off the best color in fish.

I've thought about changing the fluorescent lights in my bathroom to powerglow lol

absolutely gorgeous set up.. i just saw these fish the other day for the first time.. and i really like them... if only i had more room... very nice....

I have a breeding pair and they really do breed just like Cons as well. My female is always in breeding dress and only the male sometimes switches to regular colors for a few days and then right back into breeding dress.
