Young HAITIAN CICHLID pair

these are some fry from my big pair that have formed a pair. These 2 are much more aggressive than mom and dad. Male is smaller than the female which I believe causes all the aggressive behavior. These guys should be spawning soon. No high temperatures, no veggies plenty of high protein and live foods and all my nasties are thriving it's ashamed that so many myths get spread on this board that discourage young keepers from really enjoying this hobby. If I believed all the b's I have read on this site about these fish I would not keep them. Also shout out to Andy woods for making me miss my old Haitians and getting more.

Just don't let these babies breed to each other, strong believer in limiting inbreeding in fish (and humans too!)

They can breed as much as they please, not really concerned about your beliefs. You are free to do as you please with your fish. But your beliefs mean nothing to me to much of that in the hobby.

Man they’re beautiful. Makes me miss my female a lot. My young pair spawned at like 2.5” & 3”. The first time the male killed her. Now he lives alone. I can’t wait to watch your growth I’ll sub you from YouTube

These guys spawned the other day looks like eggs hatched, mom is trying to keep the fry hidden from the others right now.
