Young Jar at LFS

The local fish store where I purchased my silver arow has a young Jar about three or four in. long for $69. Is that price too high for a Jar Arow?

i bought a 4 inch for 40 but i just saw one with a similar size for 30. ur lfs is ripping u off.

We get here a 4-5" Jar would go from 10-20$..

Yeah, here in southern Cali, the fish are more expensive compared to most places, but LFS here still sell 3-4 inch Jardinis for around $40.

That's what I got mine for.
I suppose it would depend on if your area gets them commonly or not.
The LFS I got it from is the only good one in the area. All the others are chain stores or bad stores.

I looked at TFDfish.com and their jars were 60 dollars, and thats wholesale.


Sometimes they go on sale for maybe 20 bucks, but its rare. I think its seasonal, and at this time, its not a bad deal.


Around here I have never seen any cheaper than 100 (st louis).
