Hey guys I’m looking to sell my young (2.5”) red dragon flowerhorn. I purchased him from a friend who had bred his two show winner flowerhorns together. I paid $100 for him on the gamble that he’d turn out as good as his parents and genetics and id be able to sell him for much more in the future. Unfortunately he’s been having run-ins with my jack dempsey and causing problems. He’s got tons of personality and is already starting to grow a kok. Not showing the greatest characteristics with coloring but I have a feeling his quality will improve with age. This is a great investment for anyone willing and able to grow him to a large size to sell. I’m gonna let him go for $80 to anyone who can meet me for a drop off/ pickup. I am located in northeastern Massachusetts and we can arrange somewhere to meet to exchange him. I’m also willing to do a trade for a large tank(150g+). I can provide better pictures if needed. I will probably take some better ones tomorrow

It was bred from two show grade show winning flowerhorn. Not saying That it is currently show grade but it has good genetics and may color up better

Just because the parents were show quality doesn’t always mean all of the fry will be too
usually only a small percentage will look good
But time will tell I’ve been fooled before

yes I have fifteen years with flowerhorn and got two champion

Hey guys i really need him gone, I’ll give him away at this point for like $40. The jack dempseys are getting in breeding colors and are showing signs of sparing behavior. I don’t want them to injure themselves or the flowerhorn by trying to attack it through the divider. Also don’t want the fry to possibly get eaten by the flowerhorn
