I would greatly appreciate if I could get some measurements off of your filter socks (if you do not have a filter sock in your sump or some where else you may still be interested in what i am building)
This is what i need:
- diameter of the sock retaining ring at the top
- how deep the sock is over all
- what brand is the sock
please be as precise as you can (1/16" accuracy is just fine)
also if any one knows of a filter sock that has a retaining ring under 3.75" in diameter please list it in a reply.
I am building a diy pre-filter that can be used with canisters or would work with a power gravel vac. My goal is to be-able to clean out the pre-filter in less than 60 sec.
I will be assembling tonight an tomorrow and i will post pictures soon.
