Hey guys.

Just wondering what you all think of my sump idea? It's meant to be more biological and polishing, because the tank has an FX5 on it as well.

But if you guys have any idea to add, i'd love to hear them, thanks all

IMO it looks good, that is how my overhead filter is set up and it works great.

I have a dump or overhead filter powered by my FX5...basically a rubbermaid with a couple of holes in the bottom...filled with bioballs...

Looks grerat.... KISS! Why do you need the overflow divider between the pump and the rest of the tank? Unless you are trying to make sure the purigen is always submerged this divider shouldn't be needed.

Thanks guys, glad it's right .

The second sheet of glass is to make sure that part is submerged, effectively a wet/dry filter .

Would be a PITA if you need to recalibrate the heater
