Your Experiences On Keeping Black Ghost Knife Fish W/ Bichirs

I'm heavily considering adding one to my collection of 3 Sens and 1 Delhz. As I hear that these all get on well together.

I kept going back and forth on adding a Cichlid before finally deciding against it. And a BGK just sounds more compatible.

Currently I'm keeping the three 6 inch Sens in the 55G tank.

The new 4.5 inch delhz in is a quaretine 15G until I get some more weight on him. Then he will join the three Sens in the 55G.

In April or May they would all be moving into a 125G tank together.

Does this sound like a happy living situation for them all?

yes go for it! i have been keeping them together with no problems.

Mine lives with a sen and the only problem was when the bichir would nose into the ghost house.

I had a brown African knife with my senegal for awhile. No problems.

africans knives and bichirs have no problem together, i dont see why a bgk would be a problem at all.

bichirs really don't bother any fish unless it can eat it lol.

I have an ornate and lapradei w/ a BGK and all are about the same size. They get along just great and the lap and knife even lay under the same piece of driftwood.

I once had a senegal that killed a bgk. I was very surprised that happened but that poly was a bit aggresive.
