I was wondering what your favorite Arowana is and why. Just leave a comment, my favorite are probably Blacks because they look like Silvers but they don't get DE.

I like how they don't get as big, and yeah they can have some pretty amazing goldfish colors.

For the practical choice, would be a Jardini. Currently I love my silver. I hated them for that tapering motion and thin profile then my 26" silver got very thick. Whoa! They are really beautiful with good care and size to them.

This 18" "high back super red arowana" (not sure if I got that right, hahaha!) offered to me at $3000US is now getting into me. I have found one for 1000USd that is even bigger but after my expensive ray incident, no, I plan on not getting one.
