What's your preferred type of thermometer? I was liking these stick on the tank jobbies (nothing for my fish to attack or mess with inside the tank), but recently had them all off their tanks and not sure how much I trust them given the temp discrepancy I see when they're side by side, which one is right lol? I'd guess the middle 2 since they're the same but who knows for sure, could actually be the far right one that's correct.

Anyway plz share your favorite type or brand of thermometer.

I use these. I bought six of them off of eBay. They were brand new at a starting bid of $10 for all 6 with free shipping. I was the only bidder. The batteries alone are like $5 each.

They also log temperature for later analysis which isn't that useful for aquarium use. You can also set high/low warnings and an LED will turn red or blink or something like that.

Thanks for sharing squint, those are pretty cool and like the data logging featuring. I'm sure something with a probe like that is more accurate than a stick on tank thermometer like the ones I'm using, will have to consider changing to that style.

I clicked and saw the price and thought, that's a bit pricey. But ebay for sure would be an alright deal.

Actually I didn't even look at the price (just figured I could find some reasonably priced similar version at big Bangkok aquarium market), but yeah those aren't cheap. Still squint got a heck of a deal if only $10 for 6!
