Your First Cichlid Photo(s)

Had an idea this morning that I thought I'd start on MFK. Here it is...

Post the oldest/first Cichlid picture you have since joining the hobby. This picture doesn't necessarily have to reflect how long you've been in the hobby, but should be one of the first pictures you ever took of your fish.

I'll start. I took the picture below back in early 2007. This was my Petsmart "RD" who I named Sid Vicious. I had recently re-joined the hobby, following a 5 year break. Still one of my favorite fish of all time. Keep em' coming!

He looks like beast. I started with Africans. This is probably my favorite picture I've ever taken. Good post.

I certainly would love to post mine but people did not have digital cameras then... My first cichlids were Angelfish and Rams backs in the Seventies when I was a kid. Yeah... That makes me in my 40's. but here is the oldest fish I have a pic of this is about 6 years ago.... Polleni , Bocourti, Pearsi.. I have some older pics but they are not in digital format.

No kidding.......lol. Digital cameras weren't around when I entered the hobby either. Too bad you can't scan a few old photos and upload them on here.
