Man the P section has been incredibly dead lately, so thought I'd start a new thread.

So what got YOU into the Piranha game?! Pics if you got them!

My first Piranha was a red belly, some guy on Craigslist had a couple, couldn't pass it up!

From there I obtained 4 more!

Here's the shoal now, they grew incredibly fast, re homed one awhile back, he was just too aggressive and never fit in with the shoal.

and after some time I picked up a baby serrasalmus rhom!

If I had the time and $$ I would try to collect every kind ;)

I dont have p's but my lfs gets red belly p's in alot. I have spent alot of time on the idea but not jumped in yet. I will have 2 70g long tanks soon so I may join the p club.

Besides red bellies what else is a good starter pirhana?

i had 2 large red belly piranhas when i was younger, then i sold them and i might get back into the pirnaha game
i might get a rhom in the future

Nice, I never knew that! Yea man I encourage a rhom for sure!

YES! You definitely should! They are very interesting and aggressive predators! Are they babies? If so id get 4-5 of em.

All piranhas are messy eaters, plus very aggressive, for the most part that's what makes them hard to take care of and maintain good quality water! Besides rbp imo a rhom is good, there are many different varieties! Check out this blue diamond
