hey guys
these are my baby monster fishes at the moment, they will soon be given the appropriate sized tank and if they choose they do not wish to call it home anymore *whip* out they come and they are sold.
my stocking is:
-Petenia Splendida x2
-Vieja Fenestratus (marbled) x1
-Cichlasoma Festae x1
-Parachromis Managuensis x 1
here are some pictures to give you an idea. all fish are roughly 10cm, the festae is growing as fast as the jag at the moment, already we have had a bit of a casualty.
im not sure who caused it but it was caused by another in the tank. in this picture we see that the jags tail has been literally stripped, this happened during the day when i got home from work, so not fin rot or any other kid of fungal infection. The weird thing is that the jag is king of the tank, the festae somtimes spars with him but soon backs down. thoughts please and any thoughts on the fish themselves is much appreciated.
