your ideal 300g stocklist and why?

Hey all my new 250uk gallon (300 us gallon) is arriving wednesday and I've been thinking of my prefered stocklist... What would you guys an girls most like to fill a 300 with and why? Feel free to Post pics if you already have a similar setup!

This will have you guys up in arms but my current stock is to follow and will be split between the 300 and my current 190, just shut my 180 down as its being thrown out... Its cracked so all of these are living quite peacfuly in the 190 atm!;

12inch giant gourami
Pair of midas 10inch and 7inch
Pair of dovii 7inch and 5 inch
Butttikoferi 8 inch
Jaguar cichlid 9 inch
Red snakehead 8inch
Red tailed catfish 4inch
Oscar 6inch
Mayan 3inch
Ice blue malawi 6inch
Feather fin sydonis catfish 8inch
African pike 10inch
Banded leopronis 9inch
And 4 plecos between 4 and 12inch!

I'm not one to keep fish forever and will be taking fish out as the others grow until I'm at a sustainable level of fish! I know already that I'm gonna get all the know it alls saying the rtc, dovii, butti, and red snakehead will grow and fight eat kill everything! Maybe your right and I'm not so stupid to think I can keep all these fish forever in this tank! I had a hand feeding 18inch rtc in with all these for weeks up until last week when he broke the heater an zapped himself and he was fine so I'm gonna see how it goes and reduce the stock as I go.

I have a top lfs near me who will take anything I need to get rid of so don't panick!-) I love rtc's and red snakeheads and they can go back for a smaller one at anytim lol
What would you put in this tank?
What would you do with my stock?

Im a pleco guy so ill comment on pleco..... If price is not issue try scarlet or cactus, also good to add royal or so.

I see some real nice pleco today, dunno their names but they looked like royals but with red fins 300 quid plus though! Here's a shot of the 190 at the month, cosy till wednesday lol!

Nice, get all the cichlids young so they can grow up together and I think you'll be fine!-)

Here is what I would put in the larger tank, just personal preference.

Red tailed catfish 4inch
Oscar 6inch
Feather fin sydonis catfish 8inch
African pike 10inch
Banded leopronis 9inch
And 4 plecos between 4 and 12inch!

How long have you had your Giant Gourami?

Thanks scott, I've been thinking along those lines... Almost Cichlid free odball setup. I actually picked him up today, he's been at the lfs the last three times I've been and I finally surcomed to his character!-)

I plan to get one very soon. I just picked up a 220 setup but Im not moving into my new house for another 2 weeks. I actually plan to keep a Giant Gourami with my Softshell turtle. They are known to be agressive but mine is a wimp.
