What kind and size tank/pond do you house your big cats(RtC,TSN,RTCxTSN, and etc.) in? What other fish do you keep with them? Im interested in other peoples set ups. Trying to get some ideas for my own.

Lets see some pics if you have them.

check out sum of my threads about my fish and my new pond. i currently house all my big cats in my 13000 outdoor pond. my fish list is in my siggy

wow thats a nice group of fish you have there. How do you heat something like that outdoors? Or is the temp where you live high enough year round?

Wow i just got done looking at the pics. That is awsome. If you don't mind my asking how much does something like that cost?

Too much lol. jk. I currently house my growing collection in two 350 gal ponds/cattle troughs, and I'm building a 4000 gal aquarium in my garage. It measures 18'x9'x3.5'. The build thread is linked in my sig.

What about everyone else? I want to know even if your setup isnt as elaborate. I want to get a feel for what can and has been done.

That link is similar to what I am going to make. I've already got a 125g as a filter/sump waiting to be drilled and setup. Once that is done I am going to start on the frame, it will not be enough for the life of the fish but it will be large enough to keep him happy for a long time. I am thinking 6.5' x 4.5' x 3' due to where I am putting it at this time, I could adjust it slightly but that is pretty big for the small area I am working with. That pond plus the water in the sump/filter would easily surpass 600g. That is my plan, it may change slightly but more or less that is what I am working with. I thought I could go bigger but I finally measured the area and it is smaller than I thought. That size should hold the cat over a few years at least though.

What is the benefit of the added gallonage from the sump/filter?

Polish are you going to build that out of wood?
