Hi I'm interested in Lung Fish(I do not own one) and would like to see pictures of them for the future.... My LFS currently has one, not sure what species, what are the minimal tank conditions? Size? Food? PICS!

All the mods had a discussion about this and how it's responses like this that tarnish MFK. This is a Forum not a Database so questions even if repetitive while annoying to some aren't to others. So please don't answer in a snide way the OP has eyes I think, but wanted a more personal interaction with the members of MFK. So if you don't want to help you don't have to, but don't be rude either. Those that want to answer the OP will and those that don't no problem, but don't give someone else whose asking for that kind of interaction a bad impression of the rest of us. OP I wish I had personal experience with Lungfish I would contribute info and pics. Nope like I said it was just said by the MODs that is not helpful. It was agreed that statements where links aren't included and just a mentioning that the info is on this site for the OP to find doesn't help the OP. It's a base uninformative answer as I said the OP probably has eyes they were looking for a interaction not someone saying the info is here find it. It was even stated they tried to clean up responses like that and couldn't since they're are so many unhelpful comments. A Thread was dedicated to exactly these kind of responses and how they aren't helpful. Pretty sure the MODs know what's right even if I don't. I mean that's why they're MODs.
As far as tarnishing the forum, hijacking this thread with a public argument is not helpful.
Anyways, before anyone can help with info on tank size and other care, we need to know what species you are looking at. Could you possibly get a picture of it?
BTW, my avatar is my South American lung when he was younger. Does it look anything like that (yellow or whitish spotting all over?)

I think that the mods are wrong. People have taken a lot of time to right those primers and articles about species, and ignoring them when they are recommended (we don't need to provide links - this forum is set-up easily and nobody needs to be baby'ed by having the stickies handed to them) is, too me, taking a step backwards in the evolution of this forum.
