I was going to post this in the off topic thread before it occurred to me that Deadliestviper7 can stand to have a thread of his own with some of the great current events that he shares....so here goes.I'll kick the thread off with this gem.
A woman found herself in a life and death confrontation with a young,rabid bobcat when she stepped out into her backyard to snap few photos.
Dede Phillips was about to take a few photos of a bumper sticker that she had placed on her car when the bobcat appeared and confronted her.
Phillips said she was able to push the animal away from her after it leaped onto her,she then managed to get her hands around the cat's neck and strangle it to death.
"As soon as it took the first step I was in trouble and I knew it",said Phillips...."it leaped on me and I grabbed it and took it down....Phillips also stated,"If I had let it go,it would have been me ,so I made sure I never let it go".
Phillips,who is a grandmother of a five year old who was napping at the time sustained a few injuries during the struggle.

Two woman have been arrested for "mutual combat" (in this case a knife duel), both sustained non threatening injuries to the arms, a man in his 30s is still wanted for starting this duel.

(I really don't see a problem here if everyone consented to fight).

Other news : a woman wearing nothing but a towel stole a mans dog and car.

A billionaire is accused by his wife (separating ) of putting fish and smelly sprays in the vents of their multi million dollar (and disputed) home, this appears to have been triggered by the fact that the wife stole a Picasso painting worth nearly 40 mil.

Firefighters ran a hose thru a illegally parked car, breaking several of its windows to put out a nearby fire.

I think I might frequent ciffee shops more often.
Ivan Krasouski was flying in his homemade aircraft when it conked out and crashed into a heavily wooded forest in Belarus.Krasouski was thrown from the plane and was impaled on a tree branch as he landed.
.....and yep,while he was being tended to Ivan proclaimed ,"I am Groot!"

It's obviously not dead in this photo but somehow the woman managed to get this shot at some point before the rumble took place.

Dang she's a savage. That's not much damage considering. Killing a bobcat barehanded?...RESPECT

Seriously? Their max weight it 19 lbs and only 2 ft. Here is a vid about it.
