What size sump would you use on a 1000g tank with a heavy bio load?
the tank is (will be i sould say) saltwater but iam sure some people with monster fresh water fish also use sumps thats why i placed it here instead of in the saltwater thread

the tank will have multiple large angelfish, multiple drawf angelfish, multiple tangs, multiple wrasses, and maybe a triggerfish or 2 if i add triggers i wont add the drawf angelfish..

id shoot for about a 180-200G sump

Yeah, I'd say about 200 gallons, but more importantly, it's the GPH and the types of filter media that you'd use.

not sure on gph yet..still working my little pea sized brain on that .

filter media will be live rock and rubble
