Ok Well Here is my situation... Atm i have 1 Texas Cichlid & 2 Gold saums now they were originaly going into a 75G that would be MINE. I have never had a tank larger than 10G and atm my bro has 1 10G & 1 50G Breeder. And i have no tank at all well my parents decided they want a 125G so my bro has 2 oscars a JD a Bichir and a Pleco. Now in a 125 what would be the biggest problem in a 125 if this was the stock.
(2)oscars (Fat nasty)
(1)Texas(mildly agressive alittle Chaseing)
(1)JD
(1) Bichir
(1)FM
(1)Convict
(2)Gold saums
Now my brother told me that my texas will kill EVERYTHING in there but i told him in a 125 (2)Oscars Can make a whole stock. Well he said that my without my texas there would no Problems at all. Well he told me and i quote " Get rid of your fish or i will" Now is it or is it not normal for cichlids to chase ea. other? Well sorry for whyning but he has just pissed me off always.

Yeah dude, it's normal for them to chase each other.. not just Cichlids.. but every species chase each other, even (humans).. :irked:
But what size are they fishes in the 125?

well as long as they are similar size you might be fine. Especially if you introduce them to the new tank at the same time. If you put the oscars in first and allow them to develope territories it will be a turf war when they texas joins the tank

Is your bro's 50g empty now since you guys got the 125? If so, put the texas in the 50g instead of mixing it in the 125g; however, I would say you will need an upgrade for the texas in the future thou. 50G is not big enough for its whole life in my opinion. Oh by the way, if your bro get rid of your fish without your permission, add water from your fish tank to his drrinking water..J/K. Hope everything works out for you.
