Your stance on leaving lights on around the house...

...may differ greatly from that of your significant other! Why does she do it? I like to be able to see, darn it! The reason I walk through the house and turn all the lights on is so it looks alive so I don't feel dark and weird. Yet every five minutes it's, "Hey, turn that light off.". I know it costs money. I'm okay with that. She's not. I like to see. Apparently she doesn't mind sitting in darkness.

So how bad is it at your house? Your significant other leave the lights on or turn them off?

Not bad. Normal as usual. We always turn on lights where we go.

I am terrible for wandering around the house and leaving lights on. My wife hates it, she keeps saying the house is lit up like blackpool.

I'm like your wife with lights. Even though I don't pay the bills, I don't like to leave lights on because I know if I had kids I'd want them to do the same.

I keep it pretty dark; just like my soul.

However, my tank lights are pretty bright, so it isn't pitch black and no one is chanting or anything weird.

I'm opposite here.I always get mad because every light,t.v., and anything else with a switch or plug is on at my house.With 4 kids and a wife who turn everything on it drives me crazy.All I do is run around turning things off.
Here's the kicker though,nobody ever remembers to turn dad's planted tank light on every day
