I really need and want to upgrade my 75 gallon fish tank into a 125-180 gallon fish tank. I would like to keep my chocolate cichlid, uaru, dempsey, and atleast 1 severum for a bit. I am thinking a 125 gallon fish tank would be good. Really all I can afford, they are lots cheaper than 150-180 gallons.
I want to make this 125 gallon an oddball community. So in doing so I would be upgrading my current fish from the 75... and they are as follows.
-Peru Chocolate cichlid
-Uaru
- 4 green severums (they are babies right noW 1''-1''1/2 I am only keeping one or two)
-2 frontosa
-A beatuful 3'' female jack dempsey
-2 Thinbar Emperor Red Hook silverdollar ( Myleus Schomburgkii)all black bars are 2''
-1 widebar emperor blue hook silverdollar (Myleus Schomburgkii)
-4 Clown loaches.
I am ordering 1 big widebar silverdollar about 3.5'' from f22.
Now what are thoughts of this tank? Would this be good stocking for a 125 gallon oddball community? Also can I get away with 1 catfish? Thoughts on a good cat that will get about 10''... I was thinking about a royal clown knife. Can I house one for a good amount of time?
Do you guys think the picture posted is a 125 gallon fish tank? I am given the option of trading my 75 gallon tank for the 125 gallon. It comes with tank, stand, lights, hood, canister filter.
Also posted are pics of my current fish heading into this tank.
She said the tank is 6' and she would give me the total dimensions.
