Your views on freeze dried food

How do y'all feel about freeze dried food for fish? I like the fact it stores good pretty cheap and adds verity but is it healthy

I have been using hikari freeze dried blood worms to feed my baby umbees. They love them and it has way more protien than the nls i feed them as a staple. I know some pellets have a lot of fillers so the freeze dried foods avoid those at least. Not sure how they stack up nutritionally against the fresh versions of freeze dried foods though. I like them since they are cheaper and can be stored right in my tank stand.
