Recently, it seems all of my wet pets have grown, just about to their full adult size. Wanting to know if I can put Angelfish and Yoyo loaches together, without having a bad turn out. I have a good sized 'flock' of both of these. I want to put them all into a 75gl. :)Please share your experience and opinions, tia.

I have had that setup before with several angels in with medium sizrd clowns and about 5 yo yo loaches with no issues at all. angelfish didnt even seem to care about the loaches when they had eggs in the tank.

The Angels seem to be 'bothered' by the Yoyo loaches at feeding time. It seems like the Yoyos chase them away from the top of the tank. Most of the Yoyos are pretty chubby look'n too, so I don't think I'm under feeding them...?

I have 6 YoYo's along with 22 Brilliant Rasporas. At feeding time whether it be flake food or blood worms, the YoYo's are very agressive. This is normal due to their social structure(also why YoYo's are best kept in groups of 5 or more), they will often times chase other fish and seemingly "nip" at eachothers tails. As long as your angel fish are not dying of starvation, i don't think there is a problem.

Are your angels mature? I know smaller angels will get out competed by loaches sometimes but usually once they are mature they tend to use that size advantage over the smaller loaches. If the angels look like they arent getting enough food then seperate them. Otherwise give it time

I have a combo of discus and clown loaches for about 6 months+ now. They are fine with each other. Not exactly what you have, but close enough :)

You'd never know for sure until you try it out...do it!

I have 2 angelfish with 5 yoyo loach and there fine

Yoyos with other long finned species are fine. Of course, due to their playful nature. They may synchronize swim aside the angels while they are getting away. A nuisance for the angels a little bit, but it's over pretty fast. So, yes... it is fine in my opinion.

Thank you to every one that answered! You gave me confidence.;) I am keeping 6 Angels that are 4"+, with 12 Yoyo, in my 75gl. The only 'thing' that's causing a problem...the guy at the pet store gave me a Chinese Algae eater with the last batch of loaches, and he was too lazy to take it out of the bag. It's been bothering the Yoyo, chasing them. I'm probably taking it back to store tomarrow. It has grown faster than the loaches, and almost 6" already.
