I've got a trio of clown loaches now, two seem to be doing well, but the other is hesitant to eat. (I really need to stop buying these small guys, but they don't have anything else near me.) Whether or not he dies, I'll be adding a few more clowns later this week. Would it be a good idea to mix a yoyo into their little group? Petsmart near me is clearing out their stock of yoyos and I think I saw one in the wrong tank. Yoyo would be solo if I get him since I only saw one. Any input? Yoyo is only 3 bucks. :D

i have 5 CLs and 1 yoyo and the clowns do their own thing and the yoyo does his. they dont seem to bother each other

I have 3 in with all of my clowns. They formed their own little pack and hang out around the same piece of driftwood.

I have 7 CLs and 4 yo yos, they pretty much stay in their own groups. Everyonce and a while they will school together.

Keep 3 instead of one. That applies to all loaches. They should not be deprived of their company.

I wish I had seen the comments here before heading out. I picked up two more clown loaches and a yoyo... total of 5 CLs and a yoyo, same as tongue. They clowns clustered around the yoyo in a protective ball.

With each new addition, the experiance just keeps getting better and better. A couple (3542) more clown loaches and yo-yo's will be good.
