The leftover doesn't look pretty, unless you guys want to see it other wise just use your imagination.

Not just my pygos got a stomach full, even the zebra danios had a feast.

thats good video. are the RBP with that black dot more aggressive than the ones with out?

the caribes? they are nuts :)

had the perch been gutted before you put it in there ? or was it "whole"

as always nice shoal jp :clap

my baby coinvicts always end up with bellies like those danios after feeding the p's lol

thanks Zander.
the perch had been gutted and all the sharp edges of the fish had been cut off (spiky fins and pointy gill plates).
if it hadn't been gutted I would need to do a HUGE water change after the feeding.

i feed my shoal a chunk of whole mackeral once a week (usualy about a 3 inch wide 4 inch long peice) and i definatly notice the water gets messier after feeding time but within and hour or so my sump has caught all the junk (as well as the convicts eat small bits in the water and pleco eats larger bits when the piranhas are full) and i usualy time this feeding the night before i do my weekly water change to make sure the water quality remains good.

Nice vid

What size is the tank?

I really like the decor in it. Very natural looking and the color in the P's is awesome.

that's what I do too, usually I'll do water change about a day or two after the feeding. what I really don't like about this kind of the feeding is the oil from the perch, it stays on top of the water forever...well not forever but a good amount of time unless I do a water. I wonder what would the be best way deal with that issue.
