anybody ever had a problem withyunnanilus loaches go after larger fish, biting at them and following them around like a remora? possibly eating the slime coating, or going for scales/eyes or something. I have seen it happen a few times in my tank, and it looks unpleasant... i'm beginning to this that this type of behavior is where the "crutiatus" (torture) part of the name comes from.

little bastids :irked:

Vietnamese Multi Banded Zebra Loach. Hmmm... I've thought about getting these a while back. But just stuck with zebras.

here is a thread I found about the same behavior. It is called "shadowing" then... when loaches shadow other fish, is apt to damage the other fish? What are they trying to do? It definitely looks like it's stressing the other fish when it happens. They do it to each other as well, although it doesn't appear to be as problematic in that case.
