Anybody have any experience with them? I can't find much info out there.

I believe this is a Zacco Platypus, I'll have Levi post some pics for positive ID.

they are found in... asia ( i wanna say Hong Kong and other china streams , but i'm not sure) .... they grows to bout 20cm ( 8" ) and.... do well in a typical aquarium setting ph 7 , 80 ish degree .... eats feeders and pellets ... their fin will turn all orange when they breed ....

i have 4 myself, and it seems wat i think r male and female ... the male is a lot more showy with vertical stripes and longer fins , for some reason though wholesaler tend to have in more females than males...

Lol, I was confused when you mentioned platypus.

I have to say this was a great addition to my community tank. It seems to be a hardy fish. It ate almost immediately after a 9 hour trip in a cooler. It eats small pellets and is very active. It doesn't seem to be aggressive at all.

My lfs have some 'zacco macroletis' was about to buy 2 of em..but didnt..ANy info on them?
