congrats fellow hmong hobbiest..but you"ll need a 6foot long tank for them unless they are still under the 4inch mark..also..they usually do better in a colony with less males so hopefully you have a 1m to 4f ratio..males tend to get aggressive against each other and usually if there are too many males within a colony..the fins/trailers dont get really long..they are relatively easy to get bloat if water quality isnt good and feed them New Life Spectrum(u dont have to but the majority of cyphos owner do) =P..and if you have more questions..go to www.cyphos.com home of the frontosa/cyphotilapia =D..best of luck to you and your new colony..
if you really want to get to the details on fronts you can google. youll find all sorts of info regarding the front online! for full grown fronts you do need a 6ft tank. the fronts are piscovores. i feed mine dainichi xl pro, omega one, and nls. they like dim lights and are startled very easy. theyre mouthbrooders. they like to eat snicker bars and pancakes. sometimes they like their bellys scratched too.
