I've seen a few recently and I'm curious on what info y'all may have. Aggression? Size? How they do in communities/species specific groups? Not planning on one but I think they may be fun fish to recommend. Not too common and still pretty. Thanks for y'all's input in advance!

I keep them alone in a 40 breeder. They are a fairly shy, retiring species. The males will get up to around 5" supposedly but I've never had them at that size. Mine's maybe 3" or so.

There is conspecific aggression among them, so I use driftwood, clay caves, and fake plants to allow them privacy and shelter to get away from each other. They tend to isolate themselves at night into their own little territories.

If I kept any fish with them it'd probably be small, peaceful tetras or something similar.
