Zebra Danios use to test water?

i want to makes my water is good so i bought 3 zebra danios to test the water. Is this ok?

They are pretty hardy fish imo so im gonna say no. The best way to check your water is with a test kit for PH, Nitrite, and Ammonia.

What do you plan on putting in there? There are some fish where you can cycle the tank for a week and they'll be fine.

Zebra danios are great fish to help cycle your nitrates. Iver the next few weeks you should start to see the levels of Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate change.
