Hey guys so i have a zebra loach in my 55g tank, when i first got 3 of these loachs they were all VERY skinny and weak....after trying to get them to eat i finally found that they would eat blood worms, but 2 had already died

Now the last one is living in my 55g and has been only eating blood worms...until about 2 weeks ago when he stop eating them! now he is waisting away and seems to have no energy, to the point that he will turn on his side and let the cory cats push him arond until in gains enough energy to swim away.

So my question is WHAT ELSE CAN I FEED HIM!! i have tried many different sinking wafers and pellet foods but he will still not eat.

Any help from zebra loach owers would be great! (p.s. he will also not even eat the smallest snails, that i have in my pond snail tank!!)

live food like live black worms or baby brine shrimp. there might be other reasons why it's not eating thought like internal parasites or being stressed out.

think he not stressed out cause he sucks up the blood worm but then spits it out and leaves it

How long does the live food survive??, cause i do not wanna have to buy a bunch of it just to have it die if i do not use it all in a certain amount of time

thanks

he could have parasites. can you tell me water params? what're the other inhabitants? need more info!

ammonia- 0

nitrite- 0

nitrate- i think it is some where between 15-25 the color is hard to tell

I do not know alot about internal parasites but i just added alot of new plants, it is a planted aquarium, 3 bronze corys, 3 swartz corys, 2 skirts, 6 neons, 1 coolie, 1 ghost shrimp, not alot of fish....hopefully that all helps

well what should i do about these parasites? do i have to just wait it out and hope for the best?

Can you QT him? It is hard to do anything to loaches because they can't take salt and are susceptible to meds.
