Zebra nitra snail

I don't think they do. I think they reproduce in brackish water or salt water, but I think they lay eggs which don't hatch in fresh water and are hard to scrape off.

It is nerite, not nitra. No, they won't reproduce in FW. They need varying salinity to do so as they came from tidal pools. They can lay eggs but the eggs will never be viable.

Ok I swear Petland had it down as nitra and its deffinentally nerite petlands dum they dont even carry shrimp

That kind of sucks cause I got some nerite's and they laid eggs all over my drift wood.

Join the club. You could try Pomacea bridgesii. They're available in various colors but selling them to other states require a permit otherwise you can simply sell or trade around within the state. You're lucky if you can find the Pomacea insularum. They're considered monster snails being the largest at softball size but these snails also leave bite marks so be careful. My Pomacea canaliculata already can give sharp rasp on my skin with their radula (rapsing tongue).
