A common LFS is selling apparently 2 3inchzebra pleco for Can$33??
Is this the going price on the market??
Please enlighten me.

I don't think they are zebras, they are one of the many new replacements currently on the market the replace the Zebras. A true Zebra Hypancitrus Zebra, L046, will go for a minimum of US$200. If you have a pic or Latin name that would help.

the absolute cheapest I have seen recently is $125 USD.
If they are $33 get them (Assuming they are true zebras.

There have been some zebras that have a brownish tint to them. they are not the Real L46!!! Check em out and if they are totally white and black buy em all!!!! I'll take one for $75 too!

There have been a number of false zebras flooding the market. Guppy put a post up about it, just search for False Zebra pleco. You'll get a few hits.
