Zebra Shovelnose?

Hey all,

I have seen some pics in the past of a Zebra Shovelnose. Is this a true species? Or is it a cross-bred fish?

I would like to have one some day, but I didn't remember liking the $1,000 price tag too much.

Does anyone here have one? Pics would be really cool.

Are you talking about Tigrinus Catfish? Brachyplaystoma Tigrinum?

Those are the only species of 'Zebra' striped shovelnoses that would demand that kind of price.. Search for 'Tigrinus' and you will come up with lots of info!
