Was wondering at what size would be ideal to add my tig to my 220 which has my pair of Zebrina pikes. Currently my male Zebrina is 13 inches my tig is now 6. I don't want to add the tig to soon just to be eaten. The male Zebrina will eat anything as far as food goes the female just seems to love krill. Undecided.

The risk with catfish that are just over the size of being a mouthful is that the pikes will try to eat them anyway. With catfish that can lock their spines, it could be a big risk. Had it happen with baby Cincta trying to eat baby plecos that I was growing out together.

I’d wait until the catfish is more than half the zebrina’s size.
