Zebrina pike cichlid care

Wonder what is the size and species of your Bichir ? And what size of zabrina are you getting ? If Bichir is large and picked are juvenile it could be desdly. Where I am there Zebrinas are extremely rare and difficult to come buy and go for really high price. These bichirs are by nature aggressive and in past I have seen my descent size Pike got eaten by one of these . Costly but unfortunate.

Still inclined to go ahead then ensure you have some brightness even at night time . So pikes can move if Bichir lunges at them

Sorry for the late response but I have a 7"senegal and a 12" endlicheri not sure about the size of the zebrina yet. My bichir has been with 2 inch congo tetras and has not eaten 1 yet(I'm pretty suprised).

Not a good idea give the size of endli. Pikes are naturally curious and approach everything. Now imagine at night bumping into endli. I am almost certain it will be expensive.
