Hey guys, so I have my 180 gallon aquarium and I'll be setting it up for a Zebrina Pike Cichlid. I will be using an RO System for my water as I live in Phoenix AZ and our water out the tap is very hard and has a high pH. Im trying to gather information on pH, GH and KH for the Zebrina. The more I research this, the more confused I get, I have literally seen pH ranges from 4.0 - 8.0 and everything from soft to moderately hard, and hard for the hardness.... I really have no idea what to give merit to!

I am an advent believer in not "chasing" water levels, stability is important. But I will be starting with a RO Water base and adding minerals and adjusting pH as needed prior to the water being added to my tank.

Im really interested in hearing from people who have or have owned Zebrjna Pikes... what products would you recommend for adding minerals back to the RO water, and what is an optimal pH range for these guys. I really cant believe it's 4.0.

Thanks in advance for the help!
