Was bored so tried out a few different settings on the camera and added another light to the tank. Made the photos come out a bit yellow, and still dark so I had to brighten a couple up. I might go grab a halogen shop light and throw it on top and try again here soon.

I really don't think he's quite bloomed yet. Just need to give him time.

This would have been a good photo if I would have framed the entire fish.

Had to brighten this one. More along what it looks like in person, flash washes the blues out.

Can see the red starting on the forehead area.

And one of the terror...he should have been shipped out like 3 weeks ago but I got the wrong FedEx number and then we got hit with a storm that hasn't ended.

Around 6". Maybe a hair more.

Every Umbee I've ever had that was female had the pink hue on the head....my males never have.

There are plenty of males with the pink head. I'm just calling this one male due to the vent. You can see his naughty bit poking out in the first photo...definitely male. There are really no good ways to sex them otherwise, males and females can have very similar characteristics.
