Zeolite ok for ATF/s.Gar?

I bought some carbon mixes with Zeolite crystals and I wanted to know if I can use it in my Rena X4? I have 1 spotted gar and 2 Atf's. Is this media o.k for fish?

It's fine, use it as the last phase of your water filtering (it will just add a little extra polishing).

Are you having a specific problem that your using carbon?

No prob with media, just got my daughter some gold saum GT's and used that for the media in her tank. I need to change the carbon in my Rena so I wanted to know if I can fill all 4 cages in the Rena with this media also. Right now its just loaded with carbon and spunges. You think if I do this media it will not have an effect on my Vittatus or gar?

as i posted in your other thread add some straight bio media eheim substrate pro seachem matrix then us that in top basket only

No, now if you were using it for a substrate (50lbs) I'd have you watch to water's chemistry.
