well... my outside pond sprung a leak so i had to drain it and bring in the survivors.

this included a common pleco and a fairly large dojo loach. i have 2 tanks.... the 224gallon was certain death and the 135gallon he had a chance....

it lasted about 24 hours .....

zgreen got a big snack :yummy:

went down like a fat noodle

a question, do dojo loaches have spikes by the eyes like clown loaches do? i know in asia people like to use loaches as feeders (don't know what kind specifically but they have the body shape of the dojo), and i always thought they are god's gift to bichirs :D as far as feeder fish go, longish, relatively thin, have decent mass, bottom dwelling...

How big was the dojo loach

I think they use dojo loaches or kuhli loaches as feeders in asia and I don't think they have spikes by their eyes like clown loaches.

Infblue'' and i always thought they are god's gift to bichirs as far as feeder fish go, longish, relatively thin, have decent mass, bottom dwelling...''
And it seems delicious and yes they use both kuhli and dojo loaches as feeders-Anne

Wow your retro is a beast!

Oh great. I have a nice 7" dojo that I will forever think of as the "fat noodle"

Hmmm, now I want to pitch him in with the lap and ornate........
