I have a zilla 40 breeder from petsmart. I had planed to get a reptile but plans have fallen through. Now i was wondering if it could hold water or if the glass is too thin. it doesnt have a middle brace so that worries me. It would probably be put in the basement where their isnt too much of a problem if it were to break but i would prefer not to have that happen.

i had one half to 3/4 full for turtles. somehow i dont think it could stand the pressure of the full tank.

Thats what i was worried about. Im going to wait for a few more comments then find something else to do with it.

The glass isnt as thick and arent ment to handle the pressure of water. It may hold for a few weeks or a few hours. But from for my friend it was a few hours and the tank blew out

I've got a zilla 40 breeder that's been set-up for a year. Granted I did make a center brace for it and built the stand to brace the bottom. The thinkness of the glass is the same as my 55.

never trust a reptile tank as a fishtank. They are cheaper for a reason.. the design isn't ment to hold a full tank of water. I've seen a few tanks like this blow out 3/4 full let alone 100% Not sure if they where Zillas or not.
