Brian Zimmerman told me something that we both had to laugh at. He said his favorite fish is the WARMOUTH!!!!:WHOA::WHOA::WHOA::eek::eek: . I said you are kidding right? I said you chose the most drab in color fish. He said, I know. But they are the easiest to feed, have great personalities, always watch you and are the easiest to switch to pellets. How about that.

I told him, warmouth are still my favorite fish and that's why I currently have five.

Brian Zimmerman has been more than gracious to hold my Sunfish shipment for me. I plan on adding Central Longears to my crew next spring. The fish will still be small(1 inch and smaller) but I will post pics as they continue to grow.

The current occupants of 2 of the Native tanks: Bluegills, Warmouths, Green or hybrid and a Brown Bullhead.

Here is the list of what's coming: Missouri Longears, Louisiana Longears, Pumpkinseeds and Northern Longears.

You can see pics of the fish on the way on Zimmerman's availabilty list: http://www.zimmermansfish.com/Price.html

So much for "NO BUYING FISH UNTIL I MOVE RULE. " Shameful, just shameful :headshake:headshake:headshake But I got some of the fish I wanted...:grinno::naughty::naughty:

I've bought fish from Brian and they've all been very nice and healthy. I'll try to take some pics of the (now adult) longears, warmouth, and red-spotted sunfish I got from him.

Have fun with your new sunnies!

Thanks Noto!!! I was debating whether or not to start a thread request pics of any of Zimmerman's adult and adolescent fish. Brian said they would be in great condition. I told him about 4 of warmouths I had received from someone else with overnight shipping in Florida. They were sickly and beat up pretty badly. I told him they wouldn't survive had they not been warmouths. They had a thick coat of fungus and slime.
