Hey so what i thought was 2 female zonatus pairing off and laying eggs together, odd i know but angels do it all the time so didnt think too much of it. Well its been 72 hours and there arent many white eggs. if they were infertile they would all be white within 72 hours correct? they are still protecting them and all too 4099040D-AC01-4380-8CAD-B4CA40453D80.jpegAE8AFCE2-D058-462F-B007-4252973F59D9.jpeg47F0F04D-9747-40E3-9D8D-E92578B72CA1.jpegADDCF689-424A-4D3A-8214-F1CC872E47FF.jpeg

The head profiles look different to me so I'd say a m/f pair based off that
ya the thing that throws me off in thinking they were both females was that their "egg tube" was the same on both. I do know the slightly taller bigger one is def female as she laid eggs when she was solo for a week. just an odd scenario lol

How old are the eggs in the picture? If eggs are fertile you’d start to see a black spot.
