Hello,

i went to the zoo in Stuttgart (Germany) to do some shots ... here is what i got.
Unfortunately they use acrylic glass to make some sight in the tanks possible. Not good to clean up with metallic blades (algae) and much badder to take photos - acrylic glass do have bad optical refraction characteristics ... one have to find out the right angle to this glass to get sharp photos without colour fringes (in the wrong angle the pics do look like those "3D" pictures that can be watched with special glasses!) ...
But some of the pics survived my own critical view: Here are the first ones ...

Hi Stump,

about four hours ... but i also went to a restaurant inside, the house for insects and had a look for the planting house. But i have some more pics ...

no way ... the day i went to the zoo the works in the amazonia house did begin. No Luck ... in this house is an underwater watching station where one can watch big catfish and caimans.
The aquarium of the Wilhelma is also showing reptiles and amphibians - here are some pics i could make (fortunately they are using real glass, unfortunately safety glass with metal stripes in it):
