Im glad you asked mr fishy. They rotate the fish in this exhibit as my understanding from talking to a keeper. They said they have tanks behind the scenes and have fish there. They at times have temensis at about1' , and dovii, mayans, silver dollars, and some others. They keep advertising arapaimas coming soon but its been three years and nothing yet. And as for the pacus i dont know how anyone can see those monsters and they they can keep one in the average home aquarium. They are about 3' long and 2' tall.
i want a tank like that in my house! those pacu are huge but i got to agree woofy. it makes no sense to pay to see them when you can watch em at home. i love that rtc .
They also have an approximately 3 foot electric eel by itself in one of the smaller displays in the indoor portion of Amazon exhibit where the big tank is
