Hi everyone!
Since last year, March, I have ZZ blue dragon flowerhorn. When I got him, he was around 3-3,5 inches, now he is 11 inches, the same size like my 2 years old Oscar fish. Honestly, I didn't expect that he will grow too fast, and he still is growing.
Just my question is- how big can get a ZZ flowerhorn?

Usually I try to provide variety of food to my Flowerhorn- Hikari, Northfin, Tropical granulated food, frozen krill, artemia and blood worms, he isn't picky at all, eats everything but just wandering is it good idea to treat him with meal worms bought from a good pet store or there is a risk to be infected with dangerous pathogens?

Wow nice color and kok he looks Beutiful and healthy I like the redness of the eyesThank for sharing

His growth will slow down now. The first 16-24 months are when flowerhorn grow at an exceptional speed. The diet you are feeding is good because it gives him variety. DO NOT FEED MEALWORMS OR ANY LIVE FOOD. To much risk for infection. If you want to give him a treat give him frozen bloodworms or cooked finely chopped shrimp. Thats what I give mine as a treat twice a week.
